The South Carolina Education Scholarship Trust Fund (ESTF) is a state-funded education savings account available to South Carolina K-12 families. It provides funds that parents control and can spend on approved educational expenses, including online courses, curriculum, tutoring, and technology education programs.
The ESTF is administered by the South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) and uses ClassWallet as its spending platform. Eligibility has been phased in across multiple years, with expanded access continuing each school year. Families should check the program site for current eligibility rules.
Always verify current award amounts, eligibility requirements, and application timelines directly at sc-estf-program.com, as program details change.
South Carolina families can use their Education Scholarship Trust Fund funds to pay for MYTEK Lab courses directly through ClassWallet.
MYTEK Lab is also a WASC-accredited technology education program, which means our courses meet rigorous academic quality standards and qualify for elective credit at the middle and high school level.

Information Technology 2 taught me lots of new skills this year! Overall, this course was very fun, and it prepared me well for where I am headed. My college I am headed to is extremely STEM focused, and I am so grateful I had a solid foundation given to me by this course.
I've taken classes with myteklab for the past three years and even though the topics and concepts are beyond hard to wrap my head around, the environment and teaching has always convinced me to stay. While the class proved difficult time and time again I felt like every accomplishment was that much sweeter.
I really enjoyed this year in IT. For me, it didn't even seem like school. Learning to program and code has always been a big dream of mine and now that I have gotten able to do it, it has been so much fun. I really can't wait for Information Technology 2 next year.
I enjoyed my 1st year/class at MYTEK so much, and will totally continue to take classes on this awesome site! The community of other students is super cool. MYTEK really inspired me to get into tech this year, and I might even be looking at pursuing a tech career!
This class has served me well and taught me a lot of important skills, such as socket.io. I really enjoyed this year and look forward to next year. I am forever grateful to be able to be enrolled in your courses!
This year has definitely been my favourite so far! I have learned so many things about coding and AI, which was my favourite module. I never thought I would be able to look at code and understand the things that I read, but over the year I learned that it is not as complicated as it seems. Thank you for inspiring me to learn and to create things I never imagined I would be able to do.
Overall, I really enjoyed Computer Science 1 and am looking forward to taking Computer Science 2. I am a lot more confident with mytekserver and linux now.
This year was CRAZY! And I loved every minute of it. Level three was challenging but great to learn! Learning how to code for real was interesting and way more fun then block coding for me!
To be completely honest, I originally only took this class because it was a required high school credit. However, I loved it and it quickly turned into one of my favorite classes I've ever taken. I'm proud to say that I'm not terrified of vim anymore like I was at the beginning!
I loved programming. I tried to program before but how they taught me did not make sense. But Mytek you made me able to understand it and not be frustrated as the other program I did. I loved the course and how it was presented.
This class has helped me tremendously when programming in engineering and also understanding many of the software programs that I have used through architecture. I am sure I will refer to much of the knowledge gained here in my college years and in my career.
Thanks so much for teaching me over the last 2 years. MyTek really helped me decide what I want to do in the future. Next year I'll be attending Purdue University with a major in Computer Science!
Every class is taught live by a professional with real-world technology experience. Your child gets answers to their actual questions, not a one-size-fits-all recording.
Very few online homeschool technology programs hold WASC accreditation. It matters for families who need courses to count for elective credit and for co-ops that vet curriculum before recommending it.
MYTEK Lab has been serving homeschool families since 2015. We are not a startup. We are an established program that families across the country have trusted for a decade.
Students are not anonymous. Instructors know their names, their learning pace, and where they need extra support.
MYTEK Lab is an approved South Carolina Education Scholarship Trust Fund vendor and is also accepted by multiple other state scholarship and education savings programs. Contact us to confirm eligibility for your specific program.
Fall 2026 courses are open for enrollment. Seats are limited by class section.
