Prerequisite: Completing Computer Science 1 with MYTEK LAB
Advanced Computer Science is a comprehensive, year-long course designed for students ready to deepen their understanding of computing and prepare for college-level computer science study. This course strengthens computational thinking, programming proficiency, and analytical reasoning while examining the broader impact of technology on society.
Through a hands-on, project-based approach, students explore algorithms, programming, data analysis, networking, and cybersecurity, applying core computer science concepts to real-world problems. Learners also engage in meaningful discussions around ethics, digital responsibility, and the societal implications of computing, helping them develop a well-rounded perspective on technology’s role in the modern world.
By the end of the course, students will have built and analyzed complex computational solutions, completed a substantial final project, and developed the skills and confidence needed for advanced academic study and future careers in technology.
Students receive consistent support throughout the course.
