Flex Pace is a highly adaptable course alternative designed to cater to students' varying schedules. This learning approach involves weekly recorded videos and lesson releases, allowing students the convenience to engage with the course content according to their own timelines. Given the rapid and frequent evolution of technology, the potential for outdated material is a concern for learners. However, Flex Pace proactively address this issue by continuously updating our content, ensuring that all students have access to the most current material and instructional modules. Recordings will be released each Monday.
By releasing the recordings on a weekly basis, we ensure that students consistently benefit from up-to-date technology education that encompasses the latest advancements. Through the Flex Pace, do not have to follow assignment deadlines, allowing students additional time to work on their assignments. Information Technology 1 offers an introductory look at many different areas of technology. In this live and interactive course, students will learn programming fundamentals, many different creative applications, web design tools as well as many general technology concepts.
Information Technology 1 is a great starting point for middle school to high school students with little to no experience in technology education, as each module will be an introductory approach to each lesson and assignment.
Information Technology 1 meets the requirements for a Computer Education credit and is designed at a middle/high school level.

Computer fundamentals 2D Game Art 1 Programming 1 3D modeling for games 1 VR Development 1 Web Design 1 Robotics 1 3D Modeling for 3D Printing 1 Materials/requirements needed: Laptop and or desktop computer running Windows or Mac OS. We recommend Google Chrome for the web browser. MYTEK LAB Parent Account and Student Account. Your instructor is Stephen Souders, otherwise known as Mr. MYTEK. Stephen has worked in the field of information technology since he was 15 years old when he began his career by working for an ISP while still in high school. He holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from Florida Gulf Coast University and a master's degree in Computer Information Systems from Kennesaw State University. Over the years, Stephen has worked specifically in the web development field, managed an Information Technology department, and taught classes at Georgia Highlands College for over 6 years. Stephen and his wife, Jacky, opened MYTEK LAB. Together, they have been teaching technology education to students of all ages since February 2015.
